MR & MRS SMITH  -  BEACONSFIELD  -  BUCKS

Mr & Mrs Smith were undertaking a substantial extension and redevelopment of their house to create a large, spacious kitchen with dining area overlooking the garden.  This stunningly stylish space was created by designing a feature central island with soft curves and plenty of bar seating for family and guests alike.  Attention to detail throughout the design process resulted in true functionality with an excellent array of storage, integrated appliances, a steaming hot water tap, minimalist handle-less cabinets and discreet ceiling extraction over the island hob for cooking with a panoramic view.  The soft grey and white palette is enhanced with chic 20mm Silestone quartz worktops in ‘white platinum’ and ‘chrome platinum’, giving just the right amount of subtle sparkle and complementing the natural beauty of oak flooring.  The multiple textures of gloss, stone and wood are enhanced by the sensational glass splashback behind the sink lit by changing colour LED lights.  The result is a contemporary, light-filled, fabulous space enabling glamorous living and entertaining worthy of The Smiths.
