Fitzgeralds Interiors is a Partnership, owned and run by husband and wife team, David and Carolyn Fitzgerald. We have been successfully operating from our Loudwater showroom since 2007. Prior to this, David worked for the renowned family firm ‘Fitzgeralds Furniture’ in High Wycombe for over 25 years; during which time he designed, supplied and installed bespoke fitted furniture for hundreds of clients. When Tom Fitzgerald retired, the time was right for David to set up his own business. As an independent retailer, we are not tied to any one supplier or manufacturer and so have an array from which to select, enabling us to fulfil our client’s varied requirements. This year 2015 we have won the trades most prestigious award for our customer service, an accolade that we feel very proud of.

David is personally responsible for all design work, as well as preparing the detailed specifications and costing each project. Together, David and Carolyn look after every client through each stage of the order and installation process and are always contactable. We believe it’s our attention to detail and personal service that keeps our clients returning to us.
We have a selection of specialist suppliers to whom we entrust our business. Our suppliers must meet our stringent criteria of top quality materials, finish and workmanship, giving value for money. We constantly research new products and suppliers when either recommended to us or sourced from industry trade shows. All of our furniture suppliers are British, offering furniture made in Britain but we will also supply the finest component products from Germany.
Yes, depending on the supplier with which we place the order, we can supply any size (depth, height, width, angle) carcass, door and panel, in a range of materials and finishes, ie solid wood, high gloss, wood-effect, etc.
Bedroom, home office and home cinema delivery will be flat-pack, with chests supplied rigid. Kitchens can be supplied either flat-pack or ‘installation ready’, ie partially assembled.
Yes, although different suppliers offer differing lengths of guarantee, so please ask for more information. HepplewhiteTM, for instance, offers a ten year guarantee on fitted furniture, as does SilestoneTM for quartz worktops.
We don’t but can recommend local companies we trust and know will look after our clients’ requirements.
We are open from 10:00h-18:00h Monday to Friday, with the exception of closing at 13:00h on Wednesdays, and from 10:00h-16:00h on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays, but will open by appointment only.
We have seven kitchen displays, two bedroom displays, three home office displays and one home cinema display, as well as countless sample doors, handles, worktops, accessories and appliances to see.
Yes. David is happy to call out and measure rooms but, equally, will design from measurements provided by clients. If the order is confirmed and he has yet to visit the home, he will call out to reconfirm measurements supplied, prior to ordering the furniture.
For a very basic design created from plans & measurements given by a client we offer a complimentary design for all bedrooms, home office and home cinema projects. However, we do not print or e-mail the detailed floor plans or visuals until a deposit has been paid and the order confirmed. If clients wish to purchase bedroom, home office and home cinema designs, these can be e-mailed or supplied on a disc, for £300. If we are to come to site to take measurements at any stage then a £50 will be made. For a very basic design created from plans & measurements given by a client we offer an initial complimentary kitchen design, however, we do not print or e-mail the detailed floor plans or visuals until a deposit has been paid and the order confirmed. According to the time required for each project, if the kitchen project is more intensive then a £100 charge will be made for the initial design. However, we do not print or e-mail the detailed floor plans or visuals until a deposit has been paid and the order confirmed. If clients wish to purchase kitchen designs, these can be e-mailed or supplied on a disc, for £300. If we are to come to site to take measurements at any stage then a £50 will be made.
For all orders, we require 25% of the invoice total to be paid as a deposit in confirmation of the order. For bedrooms, home office and home cinemas, the balancing 75% of the invoice total is payable 7 days before the day of delivery. For kitchen projects in that which we supply bespoke worktops, 65% of the invoice total is payable 7 days before delivery and the final 10% on full completion of the installation if bespoke stone or Corian worktops are supplied. If the order is ‘supply only’, ie we are not carrying out the installation, then the full 75% balancing payment is due 7 days prior to delivery. We can accept payment by cheque, BACS transfer and debit cards (also credit cards but these incur a 2% fee).
We sub-contract our bedrooms, home office and home cinema installations to various selected fitters, Peter Diera & Ben Drury, both of these installers will carry out the work to the highest standards set by David Fitzgerald. We sub-contract our kitchen installations to Gregg Jones of GMJ Carpentry and Mark Hotter of mwh interiors. All carry out quality installations in the Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Oxfordshire areas and further afield if required. They have their own small team of quality fitters and call on if required any specialist tradesmen such as plasterers, Part P electricians, ‘gas safe’ engineers, etc. Our clients can choose to pay them direct or via us. Both Mark & Gregg are VAT registered and so VAT is chargeable on their services. All are able to carry out all building works, if the project requires. We can also ‘supply only’, if clients have their own fitters or are able to carry out the installation themselves
We can supply the majority of quality brands and are particularly highly competitive on Neff appliances. Clients may supply their own appliances but we can often better Internet prices. In addition, we run promotions from time-to-time, so ask for information on current offers.

Absolutely; depending on which room type you are interested in (ie, bedroom, home office, home cinema or kitchen), we can supply a list of clients for whom we have designed, supplied and installed fitted furniture and it may be possible for you to visit their respective homes to view the furniture.
Yes; we have electronic brochures on the products of most of our suppliers which we can email you or during your visit to our Loudwater showroom you are welcome to take a paper copy away.
